The late Norman E Sandow custom knife maker is the father of renowned master knifemaker craftsman Brent Sandow
Norman and Brent started making knives when Brent was just a young school lad in the mid 1970’s. Brought up hunting and fishing he became captivated by knives. Brent roped his father Norman in and this is when they established there well-equipped workshop and began crafting there exceptional masterpieces
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa Norman was one of the early members of the prestigious Knife Makers Guild of South Africa There knives are works of art for which have to be seen to be believed – both true ultimate craftsmen
Norman Sandow specialized in hunters and folders that were absolutely phenomenal masterpieces with his use of exotic handles, steel, forming the blade, grinding and tapering and putting his signature on the blade
